Taught by professionals

When you choose KH Dance Academy you can trust your children will be taught by experienced professionals. Our principle, Kathryn Cameron-Webb trained at Stella Mann College and gained her teaching qualifications in RAD ballet and ISTD tap and modern. Kathryn studied many genres of dance for 3 years whilst also achieving a level 4 Trinity National Diploma in Musical Theatre. After graduating Kathryn went on to perform in various shows around europe along side teaching for different schools in and around London.

KHDA started in the summer of 2013 and has been successfully growing and is proud to offer all styles of dance to both children and adults in a professional and friendly way.

All teachers are DBS and First Aid trained with regular course updates and CPD development.

KHDA offers a variety of dance classes for all children from 18 months and upwards.

 

Melody Bear Movement & RAD Ballet classes

We offer melody bear little-bear feet and pre-school classes for children from 18 months.  From around 3 years children then move into the nursery ballet class and then up into the reception ballet class. From around 5 years children then start to learn the RAD Pre-Primary Syllabus and progress all the way up to Grade 8 along with vocational exams.

 

ISTD Tap & Modern classes

All students from 3 years are able to attend a beginners tap class before then moving onto the Pre-Primary tap level with students starting the modern work from aged 5 years. Both the Tap and Modern syllabus progress all the way up through the grades into voctional exams.

 

ID Street and Contemporary Dance

All students are able to attend from 4 years with a structured syllabus being taught to learn the fundamental styles and techniques required for street and contemporary dance. Exams and awards are offerd to all students.
